2017 LGBT Tour and Pride Parade

Taiwan has always been a pioneer of LGBT rights. Wanna know more about what led to the openness, tolerance and diversity that lie in our society?

In 1983, the first Asian gay novel, Crystal Boys (孽子), was published in Taiwan; in 2016, this country had its first transgender digital minister appointed; in 2017, the court ruling in Taiwan made it the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage.

You can also be the one making progress by joining one of Asia’s largest LGBT events taking place for the 15th time on October 28th!

Join us for a visit to a LGBT-friendly shop and our simple but thorough introduction on LGBT rights and culture before we go to the Pride together! Let’s give a shout-out to convince the world that gender doesn’t matter - let’s #LikeItToGayther!

Just for those who might want to check out the parade, tomorrow, from 2 pm on Ketagalan Blvd. Basically anywhere in the vicinity of CKS memorial and the Presidential Palace.

Pics please. For those of us that can’t make it.

I was planning to go and take some photos but there’s the opening of they volleyball league Taichung.

Is the parade just once a year?

Yes.

Feelsbadman. Will have to wait until next year.
