25 Taiwanese busted for phone scam in Thailand (NZ news link) - why do so many do this?

Not telling anyone to leave, just saying that instead of going out and being a criminal, there are other legal working options.

Lucky boys! - getting a free trip to China.

Being “departed” to China–I guess that’s one way to put it.

I don’t mind which verb they use as long as these bastards end up on the mainland. In my book blackmailing innocent people is a particularly egregious crime. I sincerely hope they’ll be forced to come face to face with some of their victims, where a swift kick in the bollocks wouldn’t come amiss before they’re sent off to the labour camp. Please don’t tell me they had to resort to blackmail because they couldn’t find a job in Taiwan.

How is it Taiwan’s fault that Cambodia deported them to China? It’s like saying “We feel deeply apologetic that…”

What are you talking about? The taiwanese in Australia make dumplings and scam phone calls just as fast as the mainlanders do.

It’s a multi-purpose word.
