What’s Ross Perot up to these days?

Since this is a Taiwanese forum, I think we also discuss what Trump presidency means for Taiwan.

What do you guys think will happen for Taiwanese businesses in the next 4 years?

My opinions:

  1. Trump might go through his plan to increase tariff towards Chinese goods, and because Taiwan has 40% of its exports going to China, some of the businesses will have some difficulties.

  2. Some of the American will buy goods from SEA countries (including Taiwan) due to the increase in tariff. But a weakened USD also means you earn less from exporting to USA.

  3. Everyone buy a lot of gold.
