Not sure if this is a repeat thread, but I was wondering if there are any affordable gyms in Taipei area (preferably in areas around the red line). Looking for gyms that offer short term memberships or maybe a student discount?

There are new gyms popping up that don’t require a membership and are less than NT$100 per visit. 1st Fitness Center for example.
And of course the government owned gyms located in many neighborhoods are only NT$50 or so per hour.
Google your district name + 運動中心/Sports Center for the nearest one to you, OP.
There’s one in every district. However, I know some people have preferences.
