According to scripture are the Jews the rightful heirs to the holy land? The Dispensationalists , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dispensationalist_theology, Claiming God gave the land to Abraham and his seed in the book of gensis. Then there is what the dispensationalist call replacement theology in which the “church”, or the body of Christ has replaced the nation of Israel in God’s plan for the ages.
Anyone have any insight or scripture to add to support either side?

(1) Are we talking about land ownership, national sovereignty, or what?
(2) In general, how is land ownership and/or sovereignty established? And under what conditions can they legitimately be surrendered? (think land sales, treaties, etc.)
(3) If an injustice has been done, should there be any “statute of limitations” beyond which legal redress is no longer possible? If so, what period of time would be reasonable?
(4) if redress is attempted, how does one go about identifying the heirs? For example, not all modern Jews will be descended from the exiles of the Second Temple period, let alone the biblical Israelites. On the other hand, most Palestinians will have ancestors who were Jewish prior to the 7th century.
(5) The question assumes the Bible is authoritative with respect to such issues. Is this fair? And does the Bible speak with one voice? (Certainly a range of interpretations, and political views, can be found among rabbis etc.)
…unlike previous years, the Christians were not allowed to bring incense to the site, their bishop was not allowed to bring in a ceremonial rod with a crucifix, candles were not lit, and the number of persons allowed to reach the site of David’s tomb was limited to 10. …
…Rabbi Yosef Berger, who presented himself as one of the “rabbis of the tomb,” told the police, “Here at David’s tomb, [people] will not enter with a cross. It’s idol worship,” he said, and “an abomination.”
In addition, before the incident, a group of Jews dedicated to what they called “saving King David’s tomb” had called on members of the public to come to the site to prevent “idol worship” there.

Arson guts Israeli church where 'Jesus fed 5,000:
An arson attack has gutted part of the church at the site where Christians believe Jesus performed a miracle by feeding 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, the Israeli fire brigade said.
A verse from a Hebrew prayer denouncing the worship of “false gods” was spray-painted in red on a church wall, suggesting Jewish activists were responsible.
And you witnessed these, or simply read about them online?
“Oh, the dirty Jews will not let any concrete and rebar into Gaza” Funny, how that turned out with the tunnels and all. I have noticed the deafening silence on that front now. No more whinging about any blockade. Those tunnels sure resulted in many a shoe, in many a mouth.
