Babesia Gibsoni, requires a really expensive treatment!

In case you have a dog or mutliple dogs and go out and let them play freely, just be sure to check them for ticks or maintain the monthly anti-tick treatment.
One of mine got Babesia Gibsoni, transmitted by ticks and it cost an arm and a leg to ‘maybe’ get it healthy again, I say maybe because the bug that distroys the red blood cells can stay dorment after treatment… It cost me 22,000 NT$ plus blood test and vet, total over 25,000 NT$.
It’s a 10 day intensive treatment.

Sorry to hear about your doggie. Hope he pulls through.

Yep. Both anti flea and anti heartworm medications are essential in this environment. Tedious and may seem expensive, but in the long run they are not.

So far she’s doing great again, thanks.
