I don’t know much about this place other than they’ve been around a couple of years and seems to be a nice pub to meet some other foreigners living in Taiwan or passing through Taiwan and also some really cool Taiwanese people. Dropped in recently and was pleasantly surprised with some good people and good beers.
The owner, Mark, used to own Little London (also a pretty nice watering hole) over by SYS Memorial Hall and after the previous World Cup, him and his wife sold the place and went on a break. They came back and opened up Beergeek.
Every time I’ve gone there I’ve had a good time. There’s a good variety of beer and no shortage of solo drinkers at the bar in which you can strike up a nice conversation with.
Every Tuesday evening is their special happy hour in which pints are 150NT.
