I never took it like this taiwanese people are super friendly or welcome foreigners. Some of em are, many of them fake it and many of them feel uncomfortable. Never feel a place where i would like to put my kids in local school.
Lets not start wit it how they treaten south east asians.
I had good time, but never feel it like a place to settle down, to be honest neither want to intergrate in their society.
I got a feeling they are obsess with a west. Some even mention to my face how easy we having in taiwan. Is just pathetic, firstly am not from the west, even am white, and secondly west helped millions of asian. Millions of asians having west passports, while there is like 30k or maybe 50k whites in taiwan. Maybe 100 white guys with taiwanese passport hehehe. And maybe one time government, after (if) being united with china will take those passports away easily anyway.
