I was wondering if there are any shops in Taichung that would allow foreigner with ARC to buy a second hand scooter on installment basis. Any recommendations?
We buy all of our household appliances at Carrefour and usually opt for the 0% payment plan. BUT…we’re doing this with a credit card.
I recommend secondhand. Maybe you can find a mom and pop shop that will let you pay for a secondhand scooter in installments- 2 or 3? Theft of new scooters is also a issue. Secondhand, definitely.
You can’t pay by installment in Taiwan as a foreigner, at least that’s been my experience.
