Taiwanese friend requests dried apple? Surprised because so much good fruit there already that I am coming for. Can I get this through Taiwan customs and do I have to declare?
I think if it’s in commercial packaging its OK. Obviously not OK if its loosely packaged (risk of fruit fly etc.)
Yup same as the bear says, but in addition in case (not necessarily you) someone tries to sneak it in , they have a beagle that patrols the airport that is really good at sniffing out fruit. Ive seen it in action, very cute and efficient. And its not hit and miss, they bring the beagle out for every incoming flight.
