Hmmm…as far as i know …any hotel near airport is very expensive!!!
i think you can sleep at the airport till 5 or 6…

I’m actually doing the exact same thing; the Lonely Planet hints trying to get transport to the city at night and finding a hotel is a) hard at best or b) dangerous at the worst. I think we might have to go with the aiport option… 
All I want is a reservation somewhere with a bed and no bedbugs, doesn’t have to be fancy. Anyone with any experience?
Its the Philippines, shell out for a half decent joint and arrange a pick up from the airport . . at least for one night. It won’t break the bank.

If you can afford a night in Hilton, by all means go!
I went to Cebu last week, and personally It didnt impress me much. Well, if you like white sand beaches (which mostly are privately owned), dried fish, lechon, hand made guitars, and edge coaster (the newest attraction in Crown Hotel Cebu) then you’ll be having a grand time. But there are other places in the Philippines worth visiting. You could go to Ilocos (North) or Davao (South) and have a great time.
