China Visa Going From Taiwan, Works Like A Charm

Wacow thanks for the update.

Good to confirm a quick easy way to get a visa, even though pricey.

Why type of visa did you receive? Double entry for six months?

Tango, wow, sorry for the late response. I only came back across this thread because I need another Visa and had lost the company’s website link. I got the single entry last time, since I was also planning on making a trip to the US where I could apply in person at the China embassy and get a 1-year, multiple entry visa for cheaper. I plan to do the same again this time. The link and company still appear to be valid. Cheers.

I was just wondering if anyone has recent information about obtaining a visa for the mainland? I am a US citizen with ROC and plan to go as a tourist sometime in June or July 2014. I would like at least a 30 day visa and would prefer multiple entry but if I can only get single entry I’ll make it work.

Has anyone used either Interlink Travel http://www.interlink.com.tw/home.asp or STTVisahttp://www.sttvisa.com/chinavisa.htm recently? If so how long was the turnaround? Any other travel agents you can recommend?

Has anyone gotten the visa in Hong Kong recently? How long is turnaround these days?

Thanks for any help you can provide

US citizens can not get a China visa in Taiwan. The passport must be sent to another location and there are travel agents in Taiwan that will do it for you… for a price.

I used STTVISA in Taipei. Good service, NT$ 8,000 for double entry/6months.
