You really don’t need 220v

Wiring wise it makes a difference, cheaper cable because no need for giant copper wires. In Taiwan they are so dumb when it comes to 110V/220V. Extension cords for instance, no way you can find a multi outlet 220V one, but a 6 outlet 110V one, oh yeah. No wonder every year buildings catch fire.

I’ve noticed the 110v dryers use a lot of current and waste electricity. Make sure if you use an extension cord that it is really good! I’ve melted one.

That’s what I’m saying, it makes a lot more sense to make multiple outlet 220V, lower current, less heat at the same load. 3000W is about 14A with 220V and about 30A with 110V.
