Do you know what kind of insect it is? It looks a lot like an ant but it was bigger. I found it on a high mountain, it’s not a kind of insect I often see in Yilan at sea level.

Not seeing any hooters, but nice B&W.
They have a Water Dance activity in Bitan these days, up to April. Every evening, almost every half hour, there is a music, water and light display. Takes only 5 minutes, but it is quite charming. And the whole business area is reinvigorated, when usually in winter it is dead. Kudos to whoever got the idea to bring this to Bitan, very effective marketing tool.
Be so kind as to keep all that voodoo shit away from us, if you please.
What is wrong with you people?! It means good luck. Gee, everyone gets scared of a tiny little doll in their food.
It was really yummy. Candied orange peel, custard cream inside. mmm.
Rocket is just jealous it wasn’t a raccoon shaped doll.
Here’s my entry for the day…
The PokeGo craze might be over, but that’s some pretty cool looking graffiti art.
Looks extremely unhealthy…yum! There must be a lot of choking accidents with the doll though.
A bit to the unitiated. But it is a special treat to celebrate. You do not have this kind of stuff every day in teh ol country. That is what makes it so special.
And it is fresh, hand made. A lot healthier than store bought doughnouts or even bread. Heck, it’s got fiber in it.
So that doll is made out of fiberglass?
Probably. Sent all the way from Mexico, man.
However, after I told my pal you guys said it looked like a voodoo doll -and seriously, it did scare one of my coworkers- she promised to send prettier ones next year.
And you fuckin eat it??
Even for a dumpstervore like moi.
That looks like your cats pooped in hot oil.
Well, it tastes like heaven wrapped in Indian spices.
Better than 2Pecks.
