I was shooting stars and aurora borealis/northern lights for the first time the other night and took a self portrait… (actually this is the only photo I’ve edited so far)

Those in Taipei and teaching evenings can do a morning daytrip out to Laomei and avoid the weekend crowds. I’m glad I saw it over the long weekend but there were flocks of people.

I think it’s just water
It’s ice on moss on a rock. Waterdrops have fallen from above and froze, thus forming those “pebbles”.

We (Taipei Hikers) hiked the only two roadless stretches of coastline in Taiwan last weekend. The are completely different but stunningly beautiful.
