I think so. Not being a car/bike owner, I’m not exactly sure of where the 129 is, but according to my map it looks like it’s in that area.
Couple more from yesterday.

Interesting pics, CF, especially the merry-go-round. I stopped there once, I believe, but didn’t explore too deep inside. At the very least, I’m jealous of the apparent lack of rain on that said of the island.
Love the composition of that xylophone pic, DM, but the lighting seems strange. The shadows look like a strong afternoon light, but the brightness is a bit muted.
Here’s some from a couple of hours ago.

My wife and I went down to Fuxing and than up to Dongyuanshan today, did some hiking on the prep’d and trails … shot some nice pics on the way up … fall colors included …
More tomorrow … + a video if I can finish it …

Actually, I took that at night - the light coming from a white tube light of the variety you can find dotted around Taiwan. Their light is strong but dull - if you catch my meaning. Unfortunately, with white balance issues that’s how the camera sees it. ![]()
CF - those are superb images - astounding even. Where did you go to take those?

Thanks. The silk and the man were in a folk village somewhere - either the one in Changhua county, the one in Taichung or the one on Kinmen. I can’t remember where - I just found them in my “to be uploaded” folder on my computer, but realised I’d never actually uploaded them. I’d have to drag out the DVDs for the originals to check exactly where.
And the window was just a random shot somewhere between Changhua city and Huatan township.

I’m loving my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens.
alidarbac … love the insence shot …
Here are some of yesterday and a few of this morning …
Taipei seen from Dongyuanshan (Fuxing, Taoyuan county)
Today’s close-up/macro shots …
Hopper laying eggs …
Lizard …
Large (female) mantis …
Watching my back …

First images processed in Photoshop CS3, with Camera RAW 4.

Winter fasion (over-exposed - slight use of PS):

Early morning view:

Crap weather for bikes:

And today I literally tripped over this abandoned tomb while out exploring. It had a hole in the wall and the corpses had been removed from the coffins as per Chinese tradition. There were still some bones in there though.

DM, I like your fasion shot, it came really cool. Also like the crappy weather one.
Poaga, nice shots too, especially the first one, I like the composition.
You 2 guys need to post more shots.
