Anyone come across some unique stores that sell stuff to decorate a house?
Looking for art pieces, furniture, paintings, clocks, vintage items, ect… Price point is kinda an issue, but not really, as I just want to check out some places as I’m helping someone find some interesting pieces for a redesign and they have a high budget.
I’m not looking for anything that is IKEA’esque’ or that can be found at the big department stores or eslite. Also it could be 2nd hand stuff.
If you’re in Taipei, check out the cultural centers at Song Shan and Huashan. Both of them boast some pretty neat (and expensive) stuff made by local artists and designers.
Thanks! I’ll check out Songshan cultural center. Huashan I was just there on Sunday : ) Some very interesting designs and quite unique. They had a ‘sexy pig’ statue that was very funny. NT25000 I think-- a little small for the price but hoping to find similar type stuff.
