Hi, Greetings from Subhashis. I am currently in Taiwan and looking for job which requires strong knowledge in english. I was food safety auditor in India.
Friendly tip: people with “strong knowledge in english” usually capitalize it.
Might as well go the whole hog: “good knowledge of English”.
Do you have any Mandarin ability?
Oh, Dr Milker… you say out loud what everyone else is secretly thinking.
I’m also not sure how experience as a “food safety auditor” has any relevancy to teaching English.
On the plus side, Taiwan definitely has a shortage of qualified “food safety auditors.” Good luck getting hired though.
Actually, it’s kind of a booming industry what with the events of the last couple years. A guy who used to post here had a relative who was in the (sort of new) field, they were backed up into the next year.
One problem for the OP, though, would be the Mandarin part, hence my question.
There’s a massive governnet investment going into this area.
As a non Taiwanese I would think chance of getting hired is low unfortunately.
