I know there are several different threads concerning DUI Charges but I’d like some input concerning my particular situation. Simply put, while sparing you the details, I got a DUI 3 days before my flight back home and upon leaving, they stopped me at customs. I only have enough money to live on for 5 days if I’m frugal and the courts say it may take up to 3 months for them to close the case and send me my final sentence… so my main question is: what in God’s name do I do now? Am I going to be able to get a job working under the table? Or will I be forced to be a bum for 3 months while I await my prison sentence? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
