Is it illegal to do one on one tutoring privately while on a visa exempt entry (from Canada?)
I’m planning on posting an tutor ad on 104.com (taiwanese job classified,) but noticed that I have to share my passport information, which is easily trackable.
Basically, any kind of work is illegal without a work permit (or exemption due to marriage etc.). They make an exception for some kinds of volunteer work, but even that depends on your visa/residence status, as discussed in another thread.
