He was just a random man that has a deaf brother, rather than a qualified professional. They asked him to do it or nobody would be able to give the message to deaf viewers. Fairly old news now, here’s a good article about it.
I mean it sounds like he didn’t get the message to deaf views. Imagine reading the typhoon work and school page here and instead of it saying no work it said pizza monster and bear in English. What were they thinking? It’s like something out of a comedy skit.

It’s pizza shaped, a monster, and you’ll need to bear with it. Seriously, though, it does show the level of disrespect for the hearing impaired. We don’t have time to find someone who is a professional, but Dave in accounts is related to someone who is deaf so he’ll do.
