Hi,
I am going to Taipei in May and would like to stay in the Fortuna Hostel near Taipower Building. Does anybody know this hostel? Is it good, clean, etc?

It’s clean, for a hostel. It’s quite nice, again compared to other hostels in Taipei. The big problem: it does not have air conditioning.
No airco ???
In a description of the hostel on the site of hostelworld.com I read that every room had airco.
Do you know another hostel that’s clean and okay, but does have airco?

When I was there last summer, there were no air conditioners in the dorm. Maybe they’ve installed them since.
Most of the hostels are about the same. You’ll hear different people complaining and praising the same one. I like Happy Family II hostel, for example, but other people have posted about how bad it is. Same with the other hostels here.
