Still, it’s nice to see him getting some publicity. I wonder how many calls he got from people wanting to learn coffee English as a result? Sadly I don’t drink coffee, but if they ever do “English for alcoholics” I’d be a much more effective teacher than anyone with such a bizzzzarrrrre haircut.

I wonder if that nice gentleman drinks “fake” coffee, or just pretends to take sips of his beverage over the course of the day (the kinds of tricks familiar to those who have been married in Taiwan and dealt with the “Okay, now we go drink 40 toast with 40 tables” routine). If not, I would imagine that his caffeine intake could reach dangerous levels…

In any event coffee drinking English is a hell of a concept you have to admit. Perhaps in the second semester they will cover tea drinking English…
