Because that Charlottesville thread is such an unholy mess, my observations here: You can tell a lot about someone by whom he says it’s okay to punch. You can tell lot about a person by whether he thinks mere expression of an opinion justifies a punching. Anyone who says “I support free speech, but…” does not in fact support, or even necessarily understand, free speech.
