I agree, I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with the design. In the first gif the hand blows a a bit of air flow, and the evil device reacts accordingly. The second gif I have to recognize that surprises me. That’s a super flying shit!

I briefly thought that this was a failed human-mozzarella hybrid. You know - the way they’ve spliced goats with spider silk making proteins. They could just shave his back and sell it at Welcome as cheese. It probably wouldn’t be the worst cheese there either. Yuk!
