Is furniture left on the sidewalk up for grabs? What’s the culture here?

They usually set it outside for rubbish pick-up for a reason.

  1. Refurnishing their house. If it is still in good condition, they are more likely to sell it or gift it to a family member.

  2. Infested with termites, roaches, etc.

  3. Infested with mold.

  4. Broken beyond repair.

Usually it is 2, 3 and 4 combined.

Check it thoroughly for any infestations before you grab it.
