I specifically looked for forum software that was Responsive, so we would not require an additional app, like Tapatalk
I found this (meta.discourse.org/t/tapatalk-a ⌠ject/10023) - so it may well be possible. For now, this is something I would revisit after we have settled into Discourse. If a good number of Tapatalk users (10?) say they want us to add the functionality, can we talk about it again then?
Will the new password length requirement change?
Or will all passwords migrated to the new forum?
Frankly, not only that I cannot login now with my password, I am somehow also reluctant to have now a 15-letter password.

Try logging into the test site now and let us know if you were successfull
In a few days, the new Discourse will be ready. When you try to login, choose to reset the password. It will be an 8-character password not 15-character
If that still doesnt seem to work, LINE or call me at 0952 948 975
I wonder if itâd be possible to parse through old posts and remove all youTubeBB3 tags, or modify youTubeBB3 tags to do nothing but spit the youtube link back out. Maybe that way all the videos show up nicely?[/quote]
Posted as a reply in the test discourse forum. Thought it might be useful to keep a record here as well.
I donât know how to do it in phpBBâs (SQL?) Database.
If the data is stored in plain text, then we could just do a sed operation:
I tested it, it works. Although I doubt the data is in plain text, so we might need some SQL WHERE table=xxx contains â[youtubebb3]â voodoo magic.
Thanks for pointing this out. Thatâs just boilerplate language from the software package, weâll be looking at and modifying itâamong a bunch of other stuffâonce the new site is fully up. Itâll take a little time and trial and error to get everything fully tweaked.
The old site is inactive. You can send a PM here by clicking on a userâs name or icon, and then Message. Thereâs also a Users list you can access from the triple-bar icon at top right.
