JUST BREATHE 1 day Silent Retreat

With Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tonglam
Sunday 7 May 2017 10am – 5pm

Silence is powerful. It creates space in our mind and fundamentally changes the way we connect with the teachings. Normally we are constantly distracted by external objects, frenetic activities, scattered thoughts, and idle chit chat. Therefore, our mind remains scattered and our experience of Dharma superficial. Observing silence is a powerful method to disengage us from this busyness and it leads us naturally to deeper levels of being. Our heart begins to open and we feel the blessings of all Buddhas pouring into and filling our mind.

I’m putting together a JUST SHOUT noise retreat for citizens of Taiwan. We will be channeling our inner voids and releasing the beasts within.
Hosted by the Venerable Van Teach-a-lot of the Xinyi Sect.
Observing noise is an effective way of staying alive. No experience required but you should have a week or two of garbage truck or scooter noise on your belt otherwise the first day can be a bit rough.
Suggested donations: 2,000nt for yours truly
