Yup.
We need to learn from the Usa. Negleting the female candidate led to riots on the streets. Just because she’s a woman it doesn’t mean she won’t be able to do a great job. She’s been working for this position for her whole life.
I don’t think that she will win. The French have a run-off process. The supporters of the party that don’t make it through to the second round will overwhelmingly vote against LePen. This happened in the regional elections. The FN got over 40% of the vote in some regions in the first round but still lost the second round. Indeed, if I recall correctly, the Socialists actually withdrew their candidates and advised their followers to vote for the Republicans.
What it takes to stir debate…
