IDK, I know busses can be assholes driving in general but i’ve never seen them run reds. I think they can get in pretty big trouble as thats their jobs. I know other cars definitely do and I have to check before I step out even when the light turns green.
The government has still a long way to go on prioritizing pedestrians crossings roads.
I’m actually re-educating myself on this issue. I noticed that after 25 years on a scooter here I was blithely going through crossings when people were meekly waiting to cross. So this year I’ve been trying to stop and let/get people to cross. Its difficult though because pedestrians quite rightly don’t trust anyone.
