Darker lighting would help.
The rubbing alcohol is really strong though.

I’m fast approaching a year sans tipple. But I did work the wood for more than 15 years back in the (and rambling across the) Great White North.
I agree with the assessments about most places, but Taipei has (had?) some of the freshest cocktailing experiences I’ve ever had.
To Whit: Ounce and FourPlay. These guys make it an art.
