After our second move of residence, we can’t find our children’s U.S. passports. We want to travel home. Has anyone any experience with this?
You will probably have to make a trip to AIT with your children and both parents. I don’t think there’s any way around that unless you find the passports. If your trip is coming up very soon, they should be able to issue emergency passports that have a shorter validity, but that are processed very quickly (such as within 1-2 business days).
