Mostly used phrasal verbs in English?

Hello everyone:
I’m a Taiwanese. I’m currently working as a translator(mostly English to Chinese). I used to live in America for 2 years. I found that native English speakers use a lot of phrasal verbs/phrases in conversations. For me, sometimes it’s really hard to understand what they talk about. Can anyone provide any resources about phrasal verbs commonly used by native English speakers? Where can I find these information?

I did a collocate search to answer this question using the COCA.

It’s tricky without really good POS tagging algorithms and syntactic ontologies, because one of the harder things for a POS tagger to do is to differentiate adverbial particles from prepositions, and only a few words are exclusively one or another (e.g. ‘away’ for the former, ‘from’ for the latter).
