Multiple entry F visa to China from HK (a bit urgent, thanks

Hi guys,

Would one day in HK be enough to get multiple entry F visa to China?
One night at the most?

Thanks in advance!

From what I hear, if you apply by 11am they should have your visa done by 4pm. But that’s to Taiwan, I wouldn’t think it would be any different for China, but don’t hold me on that.

Multiple Entry visas yes, but what is F?
You can get them at the airport in HK, takes 6 hours.

Lots of places in TST will do you a 6-month F visa in a few hours.

hesuan,

Any chance you have a name or a number that I could check this and plan my flight?

Thanks!

F stands for “fangwen”. In English it is called a business visa. Similarly a tourist visa is called an L visa where L stands for “lvyou”.

I called China Travel Service last week.

For multiple entry visa, you are officially required to have a letter from somebody in China (a company or organisation I guess).

I am pretty sure that the lady at the CTS booth at the airport didn’t ask for this before…, I believe it depends on their mood.

If you hand in your passport before 9:30 you can get your visa about 13:30, if you hand it in by 13:30 you can have it 18:30 same day.
