Need to start hiking in low elevations down south then. rain starts, shirt gets ditched and kept dry in the pack. It’s really a nice thing to embrace (when you have dry shelter at the end)
I admire you guys and all the great hiking up there, but this canuck didnt move to Asia to hike in snow.

This is absolutely true and it’s awesome down here in the winter but every long weekend and CNY I try to get as far north as possible because it’s not possible on a normal 2 day weekend.
