Once again, Starbucks faces criticism for holiday cups

Apparently, the cups are gay now. It’s almost like they like this controversy!

That McDonald’s ad with the boy coming out to his dad, how can we beat that without looking like we’re trying too hard? :ponder: I’ve got it! Just make the cups gay!

On a similar note, doesn’t 7-11 usually get all holiday-ee with their cups about this time?

War-On-Christmas Season feels like it comes earlier and earlier every year.

DID THEY JUST ASSUME THOSE HANDS’ GENDER???1!!!?#one

This “criticism” based on the assumption that some hands in a drawing may belong to a same sex couple (???) is so retarded that I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that it was all started by Starbucks itself just as a form of advertisement.

Maybe one of the hands is Waldo from Where’s Waldo.

NOW THEY’RE TRANSGENDER?!?! THIS IS GETTING OUTRAGEOUS!

This century old war on our straight cisgendered Christmas has got to stop! I’m sick of all this coffee cup oppression I’m subject to day in and day out. Last year it was a red cup, this year it’s two women totally getting it on with their hands right where my kids can see it. When will this madness end?!?!

They started in November, BTW.

Totally. It sounds like there is a bit of psychological projection going on there.

It’s time to put the Christ back in Easter

kind of like it’s time to use Christmas and not that horrible “Xmas”

yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking
