Paying taxes as a student?

Hi everyone,

My friend has been a college student (with a scholarship) for the past 3 years. She got a working permit through her college, and she’s working part time, as the law allows her to.
She is wondering if she has to pay taxes or not.
Could you help us out?

I’m not aware of an exemption for students.

In reality it depends if the boss reported it. This is Taiwan, remember what happens if you declare income your boss didn’t report
