Places already doing Christmas

Starbucks already playing Christmas music. Who makes these stupid decisions?

I’ll be looking for other coffee shops for the next month or so.

Told ya. It gets closer and closer.

Jesus, who really gives a monkey’s??
This is a problem in the world??

At least they try to do Christmas. The holiday was a non existent thing when I was a kid here besides at church. I like Christmas.

It’s either this, Trump, Cat of the Day, Taiwan politics, or North Korea and I just don’t feel like talking about any of them.

I suppose

Everyone I know just plain fuckin hates Christmas music anyways.

HA! Nice edit.

The CIA used to use Christmas songs to program Manchurian candidates. This is a known fact.

actually i would prefer that!

That’s more than Bethlehem.

Um…isn’t that a wee bit of an oxymoron?

Back on topic, a few malls near me started Christmas music soon as Halloween passed. Thinking about it, however, there don’t really seem to be any holidays that Taiwan celebrates from now until then. Thanksgiving is an American holiday, so that doesn’t count. So, looks like we’re getting nearly 2 months of Christmas this year. Happy fucking holidays!

Hater!

At least you don’t have people offended by Christmas here. That’s far more annoying.

In Taiwan, it’s difficult to tell when Christmas ends and Christmas begins.

My local Mos Burger was still playing carols in May, and one local bakery still has “Merry Xmas” pasted on the front window from last year.

There’s a steak place nearby that still has xmas decorations on display since about 1995, judging from the cobwebs and grime.

Fortunately, the prices haven’t changed since then either: 90NT for steak!

It’s always Christmas in Taiwan.

I wonder if Starbucks in other countries are already playing Christmas music or is it a country-specific like Taiwan Starbucks management decided it’s a good idea.

Most Christmas music generally sucks so it really gets irritating listening to it over and over.

Life is so difficult in Taiwan

Taiwanese! They love Christmas, it’s a fengshui thing, all the lights and glitter, good for commerce!

Christmas music at least is varied. Chinese New Year we got 2, maybe 4 songs. How many variations can you do with that?

Today they asked me if I wanted Christmas flavor expresso for my latte. What?

I told them fine but I don’t want any thing that adds sugar. Tried it, can’t tell any difference.
