Hi everyone

my name is edgar, i’m from switzerland and this is my very first post here in this forum.
First of all I must say this forum helped me a lot to find any kind of information about taiwan.

end of march 2017 my family and i are coming to taiwan to live and work.
at the moment my taiwanese wife is looking for a nice apartment in taoyuan which fits us.
however, we did not find a proper flat. either it is too far away from work or just not suitable for a family with one child.

can you suggest some websites or direct contacts of real estate agents in taoyuan?
or maybe you can give me some advises how to find a good apartment.

i’m thankful for any kind of help and support.

Edgar, welcome to Forumosa and soon-to-be welcome to Taiwan.
You could check 591 for local price.
For foreigners’ price you could check tealit or this forum (section house for rent).

If you already accepted to work here. You could ask your company, for possibility of rent-free arrangement or at least help in contacting potential places.

You gonna need someone with native CHinese language skills when signing the lease. Never sign it alone. (Your company rep/co-worker could come handy)
