Short time rental in Taipei

Hi guys,

I’m gonna be spending one month in Taipei soon and was looking for a short time rental.
I checked AirBnB but found out prices were quite high.
So i looked on the classifieds of Craigslist and found more interesting things.
Especially one company wich seems to have good apartments.
However, since you have to pay some fees upfront, i’m getting a bit worried.

So my questions would be :

  • is there a lot of scams here with the housing companies ? Should I be worried or not to pay in advance through Internet ?
  • Is there anyway to know if this company I’m interested in is leggit ?
  • Can you recommend a good housing company or agent that you’ve used for short term rental here ?

I would appreciate any tips on this

I don’t think it’s a good idea to pay for anything in advance if you found it via Craigslist, here or in any other country! :runaway:

We normally come to Taiwan for a month or so a year and normally stay here
