How much energy does it create to build a skyscraper.? My guess is the carbon expended could never be recouped by any talk around ‘sustainable’.

Who is filling this office space? I know Microsoft and Google are coming but is there a need. I can’t see many service companies popping up or moving Asian headquarters to Taipei.

If they can get more IT company investent can easily fill the space as the younger IT workers prefer to be based downtown. Anyway it seems some would prefer to move there from Neihu.
Banking on a more affluent clientele, the ones that are around here now are somewhat stingy, government employees. Most are spending less than 150 NT$, probably around 100 NT$ for lunch.
And the locals around here are of age and also turn every nickel.
