The co2 lasts for up to 60L, or at least that is what they claim. You can buy a case of 12 one litre bottles of sparking water for just under 300nt at Costco. So the sodastream is a tad less expensive over time. I guess it gives you the freedom to get creative with your soda water.
If you like adding bubbles to regular water I guess that’s okay but good sparkling waters usually come from a unique source and have their own unique taste. It’s not the same.
But aren’t the gas and water separated from each other, so the water can get purified, and then recombined later?
A lot of sparkling waters, San Pellegrino for example, still have their original minerals and contents.

I like San Pelligrino, Evian, Badoit, Perrier, and Quezac. I like my water.
