El Sabroso, a Mexican restaurant located in Gongguan, kitty corner from Tri Service Veterans Hospital, is holding a fundraiser for the victims of the quake in Mexico.
This place has the best Mexican food I’ve ever found in Taiwan in 10 years.
Wish location was little better but it’s worth the trip for me once a week at least.
A worthy cause. It’s worth the trouble to get there!

Are these the items they usually sell? Because although I have to work Saturday and can’t make this event, I would love some tacos, elotes, and horchata
Horchata is available any time they are open.
Tacos are usually available on Taco Tuesdays only.
Hope you can make it there some time!

Nice place, nice folks.
It ain’t kitty corner, it’s across from the hospital.
I’m with the Rocket on the this one. The tacos at El Sabroso rock!
Now that this fundraising event is over, you can also post your comments over at the general El Sabroso thread, which can be found here:

Lordy, I even had enough of that kickass salsa left over to start my day with a big plate of huevos.
It’s all friggin downhill from here
Nice! I presume you tried Oscar’s smoky tomato salsa? He also does a pineapple one that apparently works well combined with the pastor.
