Taipei Tattoo Scene

Heyo,

I’m moving to Taipei in the fall and I’m curious what the tattoo culture is like. Also, is it a profitable career? I’ve considered pursuing it as an art form and career.

If you’re moving to Taipei as a foreigner, the question is whether foreigners are allowed to work as tattoo artists in Taiwan. Maybe @Toe_Save knows.

I cannot answer most of your questions, but I had a tattoo done in Taipei a couple of months ago. I shopped around and I got quotes from $NT50,000 - $7,000.
