Transferring Medical Records from One Hospital to Another in Taiwan

I’ve been seeing a doctor at one hospital for a problem related to epilepsy. I’ve had an MRI and and EEG done already. But I’m not happy with this doctor, and I’d like to switch to a doctor at a better hospital. How do I go about having the records transferred so I don’t have to have the same tests again? Will the new doctor request it, or do I have to go to the first doctor to make the request? I want to get it done as quickly and effortlessly as possible, and with as few doctor’s appointments and new tests as I can.
The first doctor is at a government hospital, but I want to switch to Adventist, a private hospital, if that makes a difference.

FYI
the following is how to get a medical record from Adventist, but might be similar at other hospitals too.

Thanks, but I need records from another hospital (Tri-Service General Hospital) transferred TO Adventist, not from Adventist.

Yes, I noticed it, so said it might be similar at other hospital.

For your current hospital, I found Chinese info only, but the process is quite similar to those of Adventist.

So does that mean I have to request the files and carry them to Adventist? They can’t just make the transfer themselves?

sorry, I forgot to say the above is just in case you have to get the record by yourself.

I think they maybe do that, but it is better you check it at Adventist before the first visit.

Most relevant data is already in your NHI card’s chip.

It seems carrying them by yourself is the safest and fastest route. Asking for a copy shouldn’t be much of a hassle, it is done in the administrative section of the hospital. I had to ask for copies for insurance purposes, no biggie.
