Anyone know any avenue for volunteering in Universiade? Im thinking as a translator.
I know someone who knows someone who’s working as an interpreter there and gets paid 750 per hour.

Far too late now to ask this. Generally they’ll contact the translation agencies to pick up translation staff, I did a smaller scale high school games last year and asked for 5000 a day. All I did was translate photo captions for a Facebook feed. Volunteers would have begun training months ago.
