What Are You Watching (TV Series, etc.)? :facebook:

Surprised there wasn’t more discussion on True Detective.

Meanwhile, the fall tv premieres are-a-rollin’! What are you guys looking forward to this year?

I’ve just watched the first two episodes of ‘Z-Nation’ and it’s not a bad Zombie fix while we wait for the next season of TWD. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3843168/

I quite like the new Doctor in Doctor Who Series 8.

Also watching another non-sci-fi time travel series Outlander. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3006802/

Takes a while to warm up to the new Doctor, but so far, Okish. I must say though that the storyline this season is intriguing. :ponder:

I agree. But, I never really liked Matt Smith as the Doctor. I got used to him after a while, but never felt that warm, fuzzy, the-universe-is-in-good-hands feeling.

I liked this new Doctor immediately.

I’m discovering that, with new Who at least, my favourite doctor is the current one - and I develop a dislike for the previous one. Loved Tennant. Then I loved Smith and started to dislike Tennant (whose last season admittedly provided good reasons for getting sick of him). Now I love Capaldi, am starting to really like Tennant again, and have rather quickly developed impatience with Matt Smith. I assume in four years or so I’ll love whoever replaces Capaldi, and start to dislike Capaldi.

Clara’s great so far this season.

Has anybody been watching that British TV show called Utopia?

Here’s a decent enough new series I binged back today

Then there is this new one as well.

Star PLUS Mahabharat. Finishing up now, I think it will be 300 episodes.

Dexter and House. Netflix + VPN = Awesome

Lol yes!

Re: dexter, seasons 1, 2, 4  .

Peaky Blinders…best.show.ever. but my family’s from Brum so I’m biased.

The Strain…Nazi Zombie Vampires, possibly from outer space…need I say more?

Lol yes!

I’m on season 1. What happened to season 3?

It’s about time a decent series was made with MMA as the backdrop. Kingdom is (pardon the pun) a no holds barred tranche de vie of a SoCal MMA gym inhabited by characters with a hardcore lifestyle. Look for lots of actual UFC guys to be in this. Cub Swanson was in the pilot and I’m sure there were a few others around as well.

Gags on Diva every night at 1:00 AM (302 on kbro.) Funniest Candid Camera type show I’ve ever seen. It’s filmed in Quebec, and they dubbed out all talking so you can’t hear a word anyone says–it makes no difference whatsoever. The one just now was the hardest I laughed in a long time. One old guy in most sketches is like the perfect everyman, no one would ever doubt him. Hilarious.

Lol yes!

Story development took a dip, introduced some flat characters. To be fair, things improved slightly in season 7, but then they just lost it again with the 8th.

The Walking Dead. Great season opener, and a very good follow up- though they often start that way before taking a serious dip, or even crashing altogether (Season 3)

Supernatural just celebrated it’s 200th episode. 10 seasons.

That’s an Impala cake, BTW.

One more vote for Peaky Blinders. Great show.
