where to buy parsley (the European type, not the Mexican)

Hello,
Do you guys know where could I buy parsley? I tried local markets, Costco and Jason’s but they don’t have it.

Flower markets usually have it in pots. Where are you located?

Flat leaf or curly leaf?

Mexican parsley is cilantro/coriander, it’s not parsley parsley.

Thanks! I live in Taipei city.

Most traditional markets will have the curly leaf parsley, they use it in Taiwan for decorating everything up to cakes in coffee shops.

The curly leaf one. Thanks! know that the Mexican type is called cilantro, but sometimes people confuse it…

Flat leaf is hard to find.

Yes, I believe!
I’ll try more markets and the flower market.

There’s a nice one off Wenlin N Road in Shipai, near the intersection of Mingde Road. I meant flat-leaf by the way.

Ask for yi4qin2 or yi4da4li4qin2 at the plant markets. See 2012 Costco thread

At the weekend Jianguo flower market, there is one plant booth that has many kinds of herbs. I’ve bought chard, parsley, mint, basil, chamomile, and rosemary plants. Even if you kill them like I do, it’s still cheaper than buying at City Super.
