1/150 size (or thereabouts) Taiwanese vehicles?

I am making a model railway based on Taiwan and am looking for N Scale or 1/150 or similar size cars (10 percent difference either side should still work). Looking for some of the classic Taiwan vehicles-- the dump truck, the blue vans driven by overly aggressive drivers, a cop car etc.

The model shop I buy my train stuff from has a few cars that size, but nothing specifically Taiwanese. And my local toy store, the cars are too big.

Anyone know of a shop which has that size? Generic vehicles that size are easy to find, but nothing distinctly Taiwanese.

Cheers

I guess you know M.J. Model Railroad in Yuanshan.

I believe there was a model vehicle shop in Xiangshan Park, south side of the park. But I think it closed a few years ago.

Also interested. The only ones I have come across are those Japanese hot wheels like toy car company you see in department stores. Not really a lot of Taiwanese stuff, but some of the Japanese stuff is similar.

Would be super cool to have taiwanese machinery models in the mini scale here!

Can’t help you, sorry. Just posting so I can search this thread easier in the future haha.

My wife bought a replica Taiwan rubbish truck for my son on Shopee when he was going through a stage. He has more than 5 of them!

Yes, M.J is where I buy my tracks from. Not a big choice of cars unfortunately. I think there are only three model rail shops (MJ, one near Nanjing Samin MRT and Good Toy in Daan) --none of which have many cars. Wondering if there is a specialised miniature car shop or something instead to get them

Yeah, I am surprised there aren’t many Taiwanese vehicles knocking about in smaller sizes. There are plenty of larger ones, but no 1/150

A limited choice of trains too. I bought two, and have two more on preorder.

I just saw this shop

awesome, thanks very much. Looks like a good place to check for some.

I’m curious about the feasibility of 3d printing models and using them to produce silicone molds for mass production. Taiwanese specific vehicles are going to be rarer than japanese stuff.
