A funny story about that came from a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade worker escorting a Japanese trade delegation around Australia’s capital, Canberra, in winter. All seemed like a good day and so the Japanese trade minister was asked what he thought of Canberra. he said he was impressed by the natural beauty but startled by all the prostititues hanging around the office doorways smoking.
